Refund Policy
1. ORDER CANCELLATION
For all orders (including pre-orders), your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship.
BEFORE SHIPMENT: We will cancel the order for free, but we cannot guarantee your order cancellation request will reach the shipping warehouse in time to stop your shipment, so please notify us as early as possible of your cancellation request.
AFTER SHIPMENT: Requests to cancel an order or reject a package after shipment will incur a processing fee of 20% of the purchase price.
The customer needs to email Velowave’s customer service team regarding any order cancellation. Once an order cancellation request has been approved, Velowave will email the customer a cancellation notification email. The customer shall not send a return package to Velowave without receiving notification. Velowave will reject all shipments that are not scheduled to arrive, and the customer is responsible for any related fee or loss.
2. EXCHANGE & RETURN
FREE REPLACEMENT
Customers may return the product due to serious shipping damage (affecting the use of functions) or missing parts. For us to better understand the problem and solve it effectively, photos and / or videos are REQUIRED as evidence.
*Definition of critically-damaged items: the main structure of the product is obviously deformed and affects its normal functions in any form.
Note: the following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the free replacement or refund policy:
- Minor damage to the outer packaging.
- Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after excessive use.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after using for a certain while or a certain number of times.
Possible Solutions:
- If an item is missing: we will resend the missing item/accessory for free.
- If we have shipped the wrong item: we will either refund you in full or dispatch an alternative item (if applicable and available). Velowave will decide whether you need to return the wrong product or not and compensate you the return shipping fee when we receive it.
- If the product is damaged in transit: please contact us first at cs@velowavebikes.com.
14 DAYS RETURNS
For e-bike products: We allow you to return any item in new and unused condition within 14 days of receipt for a refund with no restocking fee, minus $200 shipping fee ($200/item deducted from refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying any charges for return shipping, which may vary depending on the shipping company selected. For customers who want to return the product for their own reasons, Velowave will not bear the shipping cost of returning the package. If you customers require Velowave to provide a return label, customers will need to pay an additional return shipping fee.

- Must include all items that were included inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.)
- The ebike must be under ten (10) miles on the odometer
For accessories products: any returned accessory or replacement part must be unused, free of wear and tear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or other signs of use. It must be sealed and unopened in the same packaging and condition you received it. We will charge $20 for sent out shipping & restocking ($20/item will be deducted from the refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping, which may vary depending on the carrier selected.
Please notice: if a customer decided to arrange the return shipment by himself and the request has been confirmed by Velowave’s customer service team, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the shipping and the success of the return. The customer must choose the signature confirmation service for the shipment, and we highly recommend adding additional shipping insurance for the return package. Velowave will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or other accident to the shipment arranged by the customer.
Non-returnable/non-refundable Items:
- For an ebike that has been delivered for more than 14 days or used for more than 10 miles, we do not accept returns anymore and follow our warranty policy.
- Used Products, batteries, special orders, sale items, and gifted orders shall not be returnable except in extreme cases of breakage/malfunction covered by our warranty, and then only after receipt of our approval for the return.
3. REFUND
Please understand that any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one ebike or multiple ebike. Once our warehouse has received the returned product(s) and checked to confirm it meets our return condition, we will deduct any applicable fee and send the remaining refund according to the customer's original payment method. We will refund within 3 business days.
Customers are encouraged to check with their credit card company and/or bank if the refund has not been posted to their account within three days of being issued. Delays may occur due to the different fund transfer procedures in different financial institutions. Please contact us at cs@velowavebikes.com if the customer has not received the refund after ten business days.

SHIPPING METHOD:
We provide ebike shipping via FedEx Ground delivery. We offer free delivery for all electric bikes. However, there will be a delivery fee for accessories. Shipping for bikes may vary depending on the shipping address. Bikes will be shipped within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and may take anywhere from 3-7 business days for delivery, depending on FedEx.

Vroom and zoom, these bikes have great pep! We’ve had other e-bikes, but none handle as well as our Ranger Step Thru bikes.
Easy assembly, easy charging, easy riding with the step thru design and it’s built like a tank . Rode 33 miles on my first day , up two very big bridges twice with ease. Excellent purchase and very satisfied. Thank Velowave !
I love more than I don't. High quality bike with major upgrades from the first ranger I bought a few years ago. I love the step thru option and racks that are included without an upgrade. I bought the ranger step thru 2.0 and was impressed with the grip upgrades along with the reflectors on the wheels. This bike is powerful! Small things id like to see in the future line up... upgraded headlights. The ranger 1.0 had a better headlight. Tail lights need to come standard on all bikes! Id love to see an option for a second battery that can be mounted on the back rack or frame to allow for double the miles you can go.
I love my ranger step thru. It's a very smooth ride you don't feel unsafe going fast. The battery last longer than I expected. I definitely recommend this bike you won't be disappointed
So 200 miles on my Ranger step through. I average 40 miles per charge. Bought an extra battery to extend for a 60 mile planned ride, Didn't need it. Very comfortable works great!
This is my second Velowave Range step through. This new 2.0 version is well reengineered with some great improvements. The area the rear wheel attaches to on the frame has been reinforced and beefed up. The handle bars also have new bracing attached. The hand grips are absolutely a vast improvement, so much more comfortable and you have better control over the bike. I do not know if any other improvements we made ,if they were they are not visible to me.
The bike is very solid, ride is very comfortable you feel in total control of this bike. The bike ships 80% complete all you have to do is attach the front wheel and handle bars and plug in the wire connectors which are all color coded. The pedals also just screw in and attach simply. You show be able to fully assemble it in a little over an hour.
Battery life is great I can get over 40 miles and still have 30% in reserve. Speeds up to 28mph and very easy to more through the power assist 1-5 and the throttle is great getting started if you are in traffic or need to accelerate quickly. With throttle alone you can ride for some time at 20mph if needed.
I had the occasion to contact customer service on issues not related to this particular bike. Even though no one answers the phone they will immediately return to you a text. They seem to prefer text and e-mail as contact.
I can not say enough good things about customer service, top notch, very responsive and will work to resolve any issue you may have.
Love the bike, a very sweet ride. I am 71 years old and this bike is perfect for me. I live in southern Utah and my city has over 70 miles of paved bike trails. For off roading the possibilities are endless between off road trails and open high desert vistas, red rock trails everywhere.
For the price this bike competes on an even plane with many well known name brands at a much higher price point. You can not go wrong with Velowave, I am very satisfied with the product and their customer service.

I recently received two Ranger step through bikes. I use them to hunt and thus far they have performed well. A friend has a more expensive bike and I see no difference thus far. I highly recommended the upright handlebars, particularly for those who are getting a little “long in the tooth”. My only complaint is battery life. After a tad over 10 miles yesterday I had 35% left. I weigh 205 and hunt flat ground with minimal gear.

The bike is overall nice but could use some improvements. The throttle is in an awkward position under the left side handle bar. After a long ride your thumb starts to get tired (if you use the throttle a lot). The screen could be updated and larger, compared to completive brands the screen is small and dated. The thing I like the least is the color description. I purchased a black bike but the color is a very sparkly green/silver color. I even had to call to verify I got the right bike.
