Refund Policy
1. ORDER CANCELLATION
For all orders (including pre-orders), your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship.
BEFORE SHIPMENT: We will cancel the order for free, but we cannot guarantee your order cancellation request will reach the shipping warehouse in time to stop your shipment, so please notify us as early as possible of your cancellation request.
AFTER SHIPMENT: Requests to cancel an order or reject a package after shipment will incur a processing fee of 20% of the purchase price.
The customer needs to email Velowave’s customer service team regarding any order cancellation. Once an order cancellation request has been approved, Velowave will email the customer a cancellation notification email. The customer shall not send a return package to Velowave without receiving notification. Velowave will reject all shipments that are not scheduled to arrive, and the customer is responsible for any related fee or loss.
2. EXCHANGE & RETURN
FREE REPLACEMENT
Customers may return the product due to serious shipping damage (affecting the use of functions) or missing parts. For us to better understand the problem and solve it effectively, photos and / or videos are REQUIRED as evidence.
*Definition of critically-damaged items: the main structure of the product is obviously deformed and affects its normal functions in any form.
Note: the following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the free replacement or refund policy:
- Minor damage to the outer packaging.
- Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after excessive use.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after using for a certain while or a certain number of times.
Possible Solutions:
- If an item is missing: we will resend the missing item/accessory for free.
- If we have shipped the wrong item: we will either refund you in full or dispatch an alternative item (if applicable and available). Velowave will decide whether you need to return the wrong product or not and compensate you the return shipping fee when we receive it.
- If the product is damaged in transit: please contact us first at cs@velowavebikes.com.
14 DAYS RETURNS
For e-bike products: We allow you to return any item in new and unused condition within 14 days of receipt for a refund with no restocking fee, minus $200 shipping fee ($200/item deducted from refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying any charges for return shipping, which may vary depending on the shipping company selected. For customers who want to return the product for their own reasons, Velowave will not bear the shipping cost of returning the package. If you customers require Velowave to provide a return label, customers will need to pay an additional return shipping fee.

- Must include all items that were included inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.)
- The ebike must be under ten (10) miles on the odometer
For accessories products: any returned accessory or replacement part must be unused, free of wear and tear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or other signs of use. It must be sealed and unopened in the same packaging and condition you received it. We will charge $20 for sent out shipping & restocking ($20/item will be deducted from the refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping, which may vary depending on the carrier selected.
Please notice: if a customer decided to arrange the return shipment by himself and the request has been confirmed by Velowave’s customer service team, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the shipping and the success of the return. The customer must choose the signature confirmation service for the shipment, and we highly recommend adding additional shipping insurance for the return package. Velowave will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or other accident to the shipment arranged by the customer.
Non-returnable/non-refundable Items:
- For an ebike that has been delivered for more than 14 days or used for more than 10 miles, we do not accept returns anymore and follow our warranty policy.
- Used Products, batteries, special orders, sale items, and gifted orders shall not be returnable except in extreme cases of breakage/malfunction covered by our warranty, and then only after receipt of our approval for the return.
3. REFUND
Please understand that any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one ebike or multiple ebike. Once our warehouse has received the returned product(s) and checked to confirm it meets our return condition, we will deduct any applicable fee and send the remaining refund according to the customer's original payment method. We will refund within 3 business days.
Customers are encouraged to check with their credit card company and/or bank if the refund has not been posted to their account within three days of being issued. Delays may occur due to the different fund transfer procedures in different financial institutions. Please contact us at cs@velowavebikes.com if the customer has not received the refund after ten business days.

SHIPPING METHOD:
We provide ebike shipping via FedEx Ground delivery. We offer free delivery for all electric bikes. However, there will be a delivery fee for accessories. Shipping for bikes may vary depending on the shipping address. Bikes will be shipped within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and may take anywhere from 3-7 business days for delivery, depending on FedEx.

A great commuter and grocery getter. I opted to swap out the stock tires for a road tread with white walls and added Mr. Tuffy tire liner. Still going great almost a year later. Worth the investment certainly.
I’ve had the bike three weeks. Put on 170 miles from the steepest grades (6%) and slopes to flat paved and gravel roads. The bike moves very well and is responsive. The assist from levels 1 to 5 fits my needs. At 5 it will go up the steepest hill at 12 to 15 mph. Going down hill on grades I’ve hit 40 mph. I’m 200 lbs and 71 years old. The bike is extremely stable for me. Fair price and have no complaints.
The bike came nicely packaged in the box, assembly was super easy, and the quality of the frame, paint, and welds are very good. The functionality of the bike is great with the front and rear rack. Throttle only speeds are limited to 20mph and faster on pas level 5 at 28mph. I like how the power is delivered very smoothly on pas as it powers you to top speed. The hydraulic disc brakes work very well as they stop me on full speed and loaded up with groceries.
The tires have an aggressive pattern to them and are great on trails giving you a confidence when you need to turn on dirt roads. Range is ok with the small 48v 15ah battery as I got around 25 miles on top speed riding (28mph) but if you keep the speeds lower you'll increase your range. This bike isn't meant to ride fast all the time in my opinion so I'm happy with the range I'm getting with it. I really enjoy the mag wheels as they are basically maintenance free and give a cool look to the bike and more importantly a better feel to road conditions.
Riding the Prado s is fun and visibility is great due to the riding position and higher bars. Overall great ebike and great value for the price.
Wow what can i say.. this little baby is a great investment easy to manage pedal or assisted control. Didnt like the assembly part. In the end it was worth the 4 hours i took putting it together.
I recently ordered the Prado S Bike from Velowave. After hitting that last button the wait was on. Surprisingly it was long at all until there was a big Velowave box on my front porch. I have to say after getting this bike assembling it and that first ride. I have been super stoked and enjoying this bike big time. I was a little hesitant as I am no lightweight, close to 300lbs I thought no way will this bike work for me. I was so wrong. It has plenty of power and is built very sturdy. Feels very solid under me. If you a heavier person don't worry this bike will get you where you want to go, no problem and keep up with anyone else riding with you. It allows you to pedal and get as much excessive as you want and well as the ability to use the throttle and just cruise. The build quality is great finish work is flawless and it is super fun to ride. I hope to try out a Pony sooner or later. This one is still a little tall for my wife who is 5'2" Again, Great bike that has put nothing but smiles on my face. If you see that in the video I've attached it is genuine stoke on that first ride. Thanks Velowave.

I got this for bombing around the campsite and my neighborhood.
Ive only got 4 miles on it so far, but those were miles of smiles.
Pedal assist means you are pedaling, but in 5 youre just rotating the crank shaft freely and this think ramps up to anywhere between 27-31 depending on the grade.
Im sure most ebikes are basically the same, I chose this one because I like the utilitarian frame design.
