Refund Policy
1. ORDER CANCELLATION
For all orders (including pre-orders), your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship.
BEFORE SHIPMENT: We will cancel the order for free, but we cannot guarantee your order cancellation request will reach the shipping warehouse in time to stop your shipment, so please notify us as early as possible of your cancellation request.
AFTER SHIPMENT: Requests to cancel an order or reject a package after shipment will incur a processing fee of 20% of the purchase price.
The customer needs to email Velowave’s customer service team regarding any order cancellation. Once an order cancellation request has been approved, Velowave will email the customer a cancellation notification email. The customer shall not send a return package to Velowave without receiving notification. Velowave will reject all shipments that are not scheduled to arrive, and the customer is responsible for any related fee or loss.
2. EXCHANGE & RETURN
FREE REPLACEMENT
Customers may return the product due to serious shipping damage (affecting the use of functions) or missing parts. For us to better understand the problem and solve it effectively, photos and / or videos are REQUIRED as evidence.
*Definition of critically-damaged items: the main structure of the product is obviously deformed and affects its normal functions in any form.
Note: the following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the free replacement or refund policy:
- Minor damage to the outer packaging.
- Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after excessive use.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after using for a certain while or a certain number of times.
Possible Solutions:
- If an item is missing: we will resend the missing item/accessory for free.
- If we have shipped the wrong item: we will either refund you in full or dispatch an alternative item (if applicable and available). Velowave will decide whether you need to return the wrong product or not and compensate you the return shipping fee when we receive it.
- If the product is damaged in transit: please contact us first at cs@velowavebikes.com.
14 DAYS RETURNS
For e-bike products: We allow you to return any item in new and unused condition within 14 days of receipt for a refund with no restocking fee, minus $200 shipping fee ($200/item deducted from refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying any charges for return shipping, which may vary depending on the shipping company selected. For customers who want to return the product for their own reasons, Velowave will not bear the shipping cost of returning the package. If you customers require Velowave to provide a return label, customers will need to pay an additional return shipping fee.

For accessories products: any returned accessory or replacement part must be unused, free of wear and tear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or other signs of use. It must be sealed and unopened in the same packaging and condition you received it. We will charge $20 for sent out shipping & restocking ($20/item will be deducted from the refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping, which may vary depending on the carrier selected.
Please notice: if a customer decided to arrange the return shipment by himself and the request has been confirmed by Velowave’s customer service team, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the shipping and the success of the return. The customer must choose the signature confirmation service for the shipment, and we highly recommend adding additional shipping insurance for the return package. Velowave will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or other accident to the shipment arranged by the customer.
Non-returnable/non-refundable Items:
- For an ebike that has been delivered for more than 14 days or used for more than 10 miles, we do not accept returns anymore and follow our warranty policy.
- Used Products, batteries, special orders, sale items, and gifted orders shall not be returnable except in extreme cases of breakage/malfunction covered by our warranty, and then only after receipt of our approval for the return.
3. REFUND
Please understand that any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one ebike or multiple ebike. Once our warehouse has received the returned product(s) and checked to confirm it meets our return condition, we will deduct any applicable fee and send the remaining refund according to the customer's original payment method. We will refund within 3 business days.
Customers are encouraged to check with their credit card company and/or bank if the refund has not been posted to their account within three days of being issued. Delays may occur due to the different fund transfer procedures in different financial institutions. Please contact us at cs@velowavebikes.com if the customer has not received the refund after ten business days.

SHIPPING METHOD:
We provide ebike shipping via FedEx Ground delivery. We offer free delivery for all electric bikes. However, there will be a delivery fee for accessories. Shipping for bikes may vary depending on the shipping address. Bikes will be shipped within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and may take anywhere from 3-7 business days for delivery, depending on FedEx.

Recebi minha bike e logo já montei as partes. Muito simples e rápido. Estou amando a experiência. Essa é minha primeira bike elétrica. Muito potente, rápida, confortável. Só senti falta, até pela potência e rapidez, de um freio mais eficiente. Uma lanterna traseira ajudaria muito também na segurança. Mas, de resto a bike é muito bem construída e forte. Já andei 150 milhas e não vejo a hora de poder andar mais e mais.
Since the bike just arrived yesterday, I haven't had a chance to ride it since the ON/OFF switch will not function if the battery is in its compartment. It appears that clearances are not adequate for the ignition interlock to function properly. The attached photographs show that in an effort to meet those clearances, excessive force was used installing the battery receptacle plate.
At this point I'm waiting to hear back from the manufacturer (in Hong Kong) as to where we go from here.
It would be of great benefit if there was a service center located within the US, and my two star rating will probably improve dramatically once I get a chance to ride this machine. I'll do a followup rating of this Velowave e-bike, focusing on their support capabilities, as soon as I have experience with that aspect of their company.
UPDATE:
I feel it's important to recognize a company when their customer service and after sale support deserve mention. Velowave support responded to me within 24 hours of my initial contact and, after a review of the situation immediately shipped replacement parts and a link to a video explaining how to easily change them. In a quick run through of the procedure, I realized how well constructed and designed for easy maintenance this bike is!
So, now with confidence in the quality of both construction and customer support of Velowave, my wife will get that Prado S that she wants so badly!
I’m 6'1"/235lb. It's actually large enough for me! It's a wonderful electric bike, I absolutely love this navy blue metal, it looks great,and the welding is also high quality. this 750W motor is quite powerful. love the feel of the acceleration and grip to the pavement. I have ridden about 50 miles already on the first charge alternating between pedaling and electric mode.By the way, The hydraulic brakes are amazing. In each instance, I was able to stop very quickly.
If you're looking for 28mph, 50+ miles range, good handling and easy to remove battery, Do not hesitate to buy this bike!
It was so easy to set up and get started. My wife and I both now each have a Velowave. Got her the Rover and I have the Ranger. She Got on it and loved every second of it. Smooth ride and so fast! The step through and it's so comfortable and love the fat tire feel. We can't wait to go around town showing off the coolest things on 2 wheels! So happy we decided to get them!
Everything was good once Mini figured out I had to press and hold the power button.
Might want to put that in instructions.

Very happy with my new Velowave Rover ... did my first 50 mile ride and it performed beautifully... if there was one drawback, I would say it needed couple more gears to shift into ... higher gears for more of a pedaling experience
Needs better directions should not have to go on line to get better idea of what to do. They left things to figure out. Bike looks great
easy to put together
After lots of research I purchased the Velowave Rover and Velowave Prado s. Pretty sure all Ebikes in this price range are basically the same, so it comes down to any extra quality and customer service. The Velowaves are towards the lower area price wise, but, in my opinion having rented several different brands, better quality than most others. Front adjustable suspension, 750W motor, around 50 miles per charge, and hydraulic brakes are, to me, essential. The Rover and the Prado have them all. Great bikes!
The bike is very sturdy and rides nicely. Suitable for adults and teens. Twist handle gears on right and acceleration paddle on left. A couple things slipped through their quality control for which I had to contact them. Service contacted me back within 24hrs (China time don't forget) which was nice. They bent over backwards to help and accommodated me with my request and got me what I needed very quickly. Accessories were quick to come and help with assembly if required was given in for of an instruction video which is not with the part. It was given as soon as I asked for it.
All in all ended up with what I was looking for and a better experience than friends had with other manufactures.
