Effective Date: October 24th, 2024

At Velowave, we take pride in the quality and durability of our own products. Since we now sell Juiced electric bikes, we are committed to providing warranty coverage for critical components of these bikes and offering customer support where possible, subject to the exclusions listed below. This warranty is only valid in the United States.

WARRANTY PERIOD

Subject to certain limitations, new Juiced electric bikes purchased directly from Velowave ("Products") are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship ("Manufacturer Defects") for 6 months from the date of purchase or the delivery date, whichever is later ("Warranty Period").

Please note: most parts are currently located in the manufacturer’s warehouse in China, not in Velowave's possession. We will request parts individually, if necessary, which may result in longer shipping times. The cost of replacement parts used in warranty repairs will be covered by Velowave for the remainder of the applicable Warranty Period.

NON-REFUNDABLE

Juiced electric bikes and Juiced Bike Accessories purchased through Velowave are non-refundable.

NON-TRANSFERABLE

This warranty is non-transferable and may only be exercised by the original retail purchaser ("Customer") of the Products. Customers will need to provide the original purchase receipt when filing a warranty claim.

WHAT'S COVERED

Velowave will provide full replacement of any defective parts/components for Juiced Bikes, with shipping costs covered by the Customer. This warranty applies only to Products sold as new by Velowave. The following components are covered under this warranty against Manufacturer Defects:

  • Frame
  • Electrical components

SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS

Upon receipt, the Customer should immediately inspect the Products for damage. Freight damage claims are time-sensitive, and Velowave will not accept claims submitted more than 10 days after the Customer’s receipt of the Product.

Customers should document any visible damage by noting it on the Bill of Lading and by taking dated photographs of the damage. It is important to retain all packaging and documentation until the inspection process is complete.

Damage claims must be reported to Velowave within 10 days of delivery. Contact our Customer Support team for instructions on replacements.

WHAT'S NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Additionally, damage resulting from abuse or neglect of the Products is not covered. Examples of abuse and neglect include, but are not limited to:

  • Racing or competition use, or modification of original parts
  • Water damage
  • Lack of proper maintenance, installation of non-genuine Juiced parts ("Incompatible Parts")
  • Use of unsuitable lubricants
  • Accidents, collisions, road hazards, or use on surfaces not intended for e-bikes (e.g., stairs)
  • Commercial applications (e.g., cargo transport, deliveries, or rentals), or mileage exceeding 1500 or Wh/mi of 35 or higher
  • Temporary power decreases due to operating conditions (ambient temperatures, load, inclines, etc.)
  • Normal battery deterioration, including capacity decrease to 50% or more of initial capacity, provided the total charging cycles do not exceed 200

Any non-warranty work done alongside warranty repairs will incur normal parts/labor fees.

SUPPORT AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRATION, REPLACEMENT OF NON-WARRANTY PARTS & SUPPORT FOR OTHER JUICED CUSTOMERS

At Velowave, we aim to provide the best user experience possible. In addition to parts covered by warranty, we offering paid non-warranty replacement parts. We also continue to support customers by offering replacement parts after the warranty period ends. However, replacement part and shipping fees will apply.

For Juiced Bike owners who purchased their bikes from sources other than Velowave's official website, we will review requests for assistance. If spare parts are available at our supplier’s factory, we can help facilitate orders, but associated fees will apply.

WARRANTY VOID

The following circumstances will void this warranty:

  • Products that have been lent, leased, or rented commercially
  • Use of third-party battery chargers
  • Damage caused by self-shipping or use of a freight forwarder
  • Unauthorized alterations or installation of non-original or Incompatible Parts
  • Damage due to weather, improper storage, or excessive wear and tear
  • Theft, vandalism, incidental damage, or abuse of the Product
  • Exceeding the maximum weight recommendation or improper maintenance (e.g., storing a battery fully discharged)
  • Opening or disassembling any electrical components without authorization from Juiced or their service providers

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, whether written, oral, or implied. Velowave makes no other warranties related to the Products. Any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are expressly disclaimed. Local laws may grant different or longer terms, and this warranty provides specific legal rights that may vary from region to region.

CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and storage of the Products as outlined in the Owner’s Manual. Apparent defects must be reported to Velowave within 10 days of discovery, including photos and other requested details. Failure to provide the necessary information may result in a denied warranty claim.

Please do not attempt to repair the Products yourself before contacting Velowave, as this may void the warranty. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Customers are strongly encouraged to register their Products promptly (here).

SUBMITTING A CLAIM

Upon receiving a warranty claim, Velowave will inspect the reported defect. At its discretion, Velowave will either repair or replace the defective parts. The process is as follows:

  1. Retain the original packaging, even if damaged.
  2. Contact Velowave's Customer Support team with photos or videos documenting the defect.
  3. Velowave will arrange an inspection and, if necessary, repairs or replacement.
  4. All claims must be made through Velowave, and proof of purchase is required.
