Refund Policy
1. ORDER CANCELLATION
For all orders (including pre-orders), your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship.
BEFORE SHIPMENT: We will cancel the order for free, but we cannot guarantee your order cancellation request will reach the shipping warehouse in time to stop your shipment, so please notify us as early as possible of your cancellation request.
AFTER SHIPMENT: Requests to cancel an order or reject a package after shipment will incur a processing fee of 20% of the purchase price.
The customer needs to email Velowave’s customer service team regarding any order cancellation. Once an order cancellation request has been approved, Velowave will email the customer a cancellation notification email. The customer shall not send a return package to Velowave without receiving notification. Velowave will reject all shipments that are not scheduled to arrive, and the customer is responsible for any related fee or loss.
2. EXCHANGE & RETURN
FREE REPLACEMENT
Customers may return the product due to serious shipping damage (affecting the use of functions) or missing parts. For us to better understand the problem and solve it effectively, photos and / or videos are REQUIRED as evidence.
*Definition of critically-damaged items: the main structure of the product is obviously deformed and affects its normal functions in any form.
Note: the following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the free replacement or refund policy:
- Minor damage to the outer packaging.
- Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after excessive use.
- Damage to parts or wearing parts after using for a certain while or a certain number of times.
Possible Solutions:
- If an item is missing: we will resend the missing item/accessory for free.
- If we have shipped the wrong item: we will either refund you in full or dispatch an alternative item (if applicable and available). Velowave will decide whether you need to return the wrong product or not and compensate you the return shipping fee when we receive it.
- If the product is damaged in transit: please contact us first at cs@velowavebikes.com.
14 DAYS RETURNS
For e-bike products: We allow you to return any item in new and unused condition within 14 days of receipt for a refund with no restocking fee, minus $200 shipping fee ($200/item deducted from refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying any charges for return shipping, which may vary depending on the shipping company selected. For customers who want to return the product for their own reasons, Velowave will not bear the shipping cost of returning the package. If you customers require Velowave to provide a return label, customers will need to pay an additional return shipping fee.

- Must include all items that were included inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.)
- The ebike must be under ten (10) miles on the odometer
For accessories products: any returned accessory or replacement part must be unused, free of wear and tear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or other signs of use. It must be sealed and unopened in the same packaging and condition you received it. We will charge $20 for sent out shipping & restocking ($20/item will be deducted from the refund). The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping, which may vary depending on the carrier selected.
Please notice: if a customer decided to arrange the return shipment by himself and the request has been confirmed by Velowave’s customer service team, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the shipping and the success of the return. The customer must choose the signature confirmation service for the shipment, and we highly recommend adding additional shipping insurance for the return package. Velowave will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or other accident to the shipment arranged by the customer.
Non-returnable/non-refundable Items:
- For an ebike that has been delivered for more than 14 days or used for more than 10 miles, we do not accept returns anymore and follow our warranty policy.
- Used Products, batteries, special orders, sale items, and gifted orders shall not be returnable except in extreme cases of breakage/malfunction covered by our warranty, and then only after receipt of our approval for the return.
3. REFUND
Please understand that any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one ebike or multiple ebike. Once our warehouse has received the returned product(s) and checked to confirm it meets our return condition, we will deduct any applicable fee and send the remaining refund according to the customer's original payment method. We will refund within 3 business days.
Customers are encouraged to check with their credit card company and/or bank if the refund has not been posted to their account within three days of being issued. Delays may occur due to the different fund transfer procedures in different financial institutions. Please contact us at cs@velowavebikes.com if the customer has not received the refund after ten business days.

SHIPPING METHOD:
We provide ebike shipping via FedEx Ground delivery. We offer free delivery for all electric bikes. However, there will be a delivery fee for accessories. Shipping for bikes may vary depending on the shipping address. Bikes will be shipped within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and may take anywhere from 3-7 business days for delivery, depending on FedEx.

I've got over 130 miles on this bike and have a LOT to say about it. This is a great deal if you're someone who rides rail-trails, gravel roads, smooth surface single tracks, or groomed snowmobile trails. It can be a workout depending on what level of assist that you use. 0 is no assist and 5 is full assist. There is also a thumb throttle so if your assist level is set too low, you can give the bike a little boost.
I have used the bike on rough single tracks and think that it is unsuited. If you are going uphill on rough terrain, you will need to use an assist level that makes you go too fast.
The cons of the bike are its weight and that you'll need to buy a really heavy duty bike rack. It weighs about 70# with battery and 60# without. It's too heavy to peddle unassisted up a grade.
Rail-trail mileage is about 40 miles. The photo I've included is after 31 miles of rail-trail and you can see that I was showing 60%. But the rate of discharge is not linear and it would be close to 30% after 40 miles. I've done some single track riding in hills and guess that the mileage is no more than 25 miles. Gravel roads would be 30. But that's plenty of miles for me! (Never, ever get below 10% or you'll ruin the battery.) I am anxious to learn what the impact of cold weather will have on the battery.
A really good quality and lighter eBike would be over $5,000. This is a great price for a eBike.
Just received my Velowave Ranger E Bike and I couldn’t be happier. Way Phatt. Easy to assemble. If you can’t assemble the bike you shouldn’t be allowed to drive an automobile. Really it is pretty much assembled when you get it, very little assembly. Smooth ride. The seat is very comfortable. The derailer is perfectly installed and will not twist into a pretzel as a couple reviewers reported, that must have been a rare fluke. Well built with nice frame welds. I own a pickup because I own a boat and need to haul the boat, last time I filled it with gas it cost me 120$., that is nothing short of highway robbery. Not paying that to drive a pickup to work. Love my work commute on my Velowave Ranger, it is a beautiful thing. Love this bike! Well designed and built. Great quality. A Phatt cat. Get you one!
Wonderful bike! Just hit 350 miles on it. I commute 13.5 miles round trip on this bike and it has been amazing. Rain, gravel, pavement, it does well. I even bought my wife a Velowave bike and she loves it. Next up will be my son if they go on sale.
I have only had this bike a few weeks now...Vey happy with it. Very easy to assemble. Had a few rides on the beach so far. You need a bit of skill for thicker sand...but the shoreline is like riding on pavement with the fat tires. On the road is very smooth, fast and fun! Sturdy and we'll built. Excellent deal at this price. They don't ship to Canada which is unfortunate...but I live near the border and friends brought it over for me.

I've been riding things with 2 wheels since I was knee high to a grasshopper! Started riding motorcycles when I was 6 and haven't stopped in my 50 years since. The whole idea of an ebike wasn't something that appealed to me--I still have a 1000cc Superbike and a bmw k1200lt full dress touring bike. That all changed this past March. While visiting a childhood friend of mine in ?? palm springs he and I took for a ride on his ebikes and I was HOOKED! I have a nerve condition in my legs which had relegated my trusted trek 930 single-track to a life of dust hanging in the rafters. Ebikes changed that for me.
Being a sly guy, I took full advantage of mother's day to buy my wife an ebike so we could do something active together. I'm sure you're saying, "but, Bob, why get one for your wife if you don't have one yourself?" EXACTLY. I got one for myself. And, being a more aggressive and crazier person than she, I upgraded my bike to the VELOWAVE RANGER 750. I LOVE THIS THING!
Packaging was amazing. Delivery was early. Assembly took 15 minutes. Love it love it love it! I live in a very mountainous part of Southern Denver and there are miles and miles of awesome trails literally at my back door. My only regret is that I still have to work and can't play on it more!
A quick note about some issues that other's have had. The derailer seems to break and get caught in several people's wheels. I think that this must be due to it not being adjusted properly before that first ride. Take your time. Run it through all the gears and make sure that it's properly adjusted before that maiden voyage. If you're not mechanically inclined, pay for the assembly. It's a steal vs breaking things that shouldn't have broken if it was properly adjusted. Besides that, BUY THIS BIKE AND ENJOY! Now if I could only find out where to buy a 2nd battery ?? ??.....
Setup was easy front wheel , 4 bolts for handlebars , 2 pedals , headlight bolt, not much else and we were out the door riding ! To get it going to 28-30 miles per hour , just don't use the thumb throttle set to level 5 and pedal a little bit !
